Printable List of Olympic Basketball Champions

The printable list of Olympic basketball champions does have some teams that are not the USA on it. Basketball has been an official sport at the Summer Games since 1936 for the men. There have been three teams who have won the gold medal in the sport other than the U.S. Argentina, Yugoslavia, and the Soviet Union. Argentina is the only one of the three that is still in existence. Heading into the Paris Summer Olympics, Team USA is the defending Champion.

The list of Olympic basketball champions for the men’s tournament goes back to 1936. The list has the Olympic year, host country, and team who won the gold medal. The Paris Summer Olympics basketball tournament has 12 teams competing for the chance to become the next gold medal winning team. While the Tokyo Olympics are listed as occurring in 2020, the games were delayed until 2021 due to COVID vice being canceled.
