Play tic tac toe with our printable tic tac toe sheets
Tic Tac Toe has been around for a long time – an early Roman game was called “terni lapilli,” or “three pebbles at a time.” Do you need a blank template to play tic tac toe with? We have plenty!
Our first template has a spot to mark the winner for each grid.

Tic Tac Toe is a good way to teach younger children about strategy, but it can also train them in spatial awareness and writing skills. Our next grid has external lines – encourage younger children to keep their marks within the lines!

Because Tic Tac Toe is a quick game to play, you often need a lot of templates to keep yourself busy. This board has 12 of them so you have more opportunities to play! We also suggest laminating the board and using a whiteboard marker so you can save paper.

If you want to make the game harder, you can expand the grid. We have a five-by-five example for you, but you can also make it even larger (if you do that, we suggest maintaining the five-in-a-row rule). This mimics other games like Pente, which are played on a much bigger board.
