When Does the NCAA Release the March Madness Bracket?
The 2024 NCAA Tournament men’s basketball bracket gets released a few hours ahead of the women’s brackets. The NCAA announces the field of 68 for the men’s tournament during the CBS Selection Sunday broadcast. The announcements are the first that the seeds, matchups, and bracket snubs become known to fans, reporters, and teams. The men’s NCAA schedule is out at 6PM Eastern Time, while the women’s are announced later at 8 PM on ESPN. Selection Sunday is on March 17th, 2024, this year. Fans will have to pace their St. Patty’s Day celebrations a bit until they see where their favorite team(s) land in the brackets.

The 2024 NCAA Men’s basketball tournament schedule officially kicks off with the Selection Sunday telecast. From there, the next big event is the First Four that is being held at the University of Dayton Arena again this year. Here’s the rest of the Men’s March Madness schedule for 2024.

The men’s Final Four and Championship game are being held at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The games are scheduled to take place on April 6th and 8th, 2024. The 2024 Women’s March Madness Championship takes place on April 7th, 2024.
