How to write a cursive ‘J’
Our first worksheet demonstrates how to write a cursive J, and then gives you space to practice. For a cursive ‘J’, it is important to pay attention to how the letter sits on the lines on the paper. The ‘tail’ of both the uppercase and lowercase ‘J’ sit below the line.

In this worksheet, we give you traceable letters to practice writing your ‘J’s. You can add letters in between the traces too, but this worksheet is really to get you used to forming the letter.

In this worksheet, we give you space to practice writing an uppercase cursive ‘J’. Now you’ve gotten to this part of the alphabet, you can start practicing connecting the letters up. Alternative between capital and lowercase ‘J’ and you can practice how it will feel to write cursive words.
