Monthly Budget Worksheet
A budget plan is something you can use to coordinate your economic efforts towards a better use, or simply, to save every unused penny and keep track of it.
Keeping track of your earnings and expenses is the best way of saving money.
It’s actually the only way you can discern a vital expense, like groceries, from a non-vital expense, like eating out or going to the movies.
That’s why we’ve created this very simple monthly budget worksheet to keep track of every penny that comes in and out of your pocket.
Once you have real power over the way you use your money, you’ll be free to spend it whenever, and however, you actually want, without wasting it and feeling bad about yourself at the end of the month.
How to use this plan?
This worksheet is pretty simple and easy to use. Here’s what you have to do:
- Download the worksheet and print it in color.
- Start by writing every penny that comes in, passive or active, you generate every day of the month. You can write down your savings, what comes in from work, or even those fifty bucks you found in your pocket the other day.
- Then, start writing what goes out of your pocket. You must be very specific by noting down every expense you make – this is the only way you can achieve a real result.
At the end of the month, tally the result by adding every earning, and every expense, and then subtracting both columns to obtain the remaining. Hopefully, by the end of the month, you won’t end up having less than what you started.
