With the 2020 NFL regular season winding down, the NFL post season is just a little over a week away. Going into week 17 means every game becomes even more critical for those teams that are in the hunt for a playoff berth not to mention seeding, division titles as well as the chance at a wild-card spot that gives teams a slim chance at the Super Bowl.

And those critical regular season games will impact team records and standings when it comes to the seeding of the teams that ultimately make the 2020-21 NFL Playoffs. The NFL playoff picture is becoming clearer, but not yet clear enough to seed those NFL playoff-bound teams into the schedule. However, the dates of the playoff games are set even if the teams haven’t been determined.

For this season, the playoff field has increased by one team in each conference for a total of 14 equally divided by seven teams in the NFC and seven teams in the AFC. This expansion has provided an additional twist on the latter half of the scheduled regular season games.

No doubt Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, the 2020 NFL Playoffs bracket winners, will do their best to defend their title. The Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, and the Pittsburgh Steelers will go into the post season as a few of the serious contenders for the Vince Lombardi trophy. which is awarded to the NFL squad that wins the championship.

As always, the Super Bowl is scheduled for the first Sunday of February. For Super Bowl 55, the game will be played on Sunday, February 07, 2021 starting at 6:30 PM ET, but as with past Superbowls, it’ll be an all-day affair.
