Word searches are a fun way to keep your mind sharp! Kids can learn new words and concepts through the list of words. In these puzzles, we’ve tried to cover a variety of topics, three relating to nature and one on geography.

“Animals” is a good theme for children’s games, because they likely have learned or will learn about them in school. This word search covers a range of animals, from more domesticated to less. If you’re completing the puzzle with a kid, you could ask them to draw their favorite animal.

There are over 190 countries in the world, and the UN recognizes more than that! For our final puzzle, we’ve chosen names of different countries as the theme. We’ve tended towards countries that are not very well-known (but not very obscure either!) to make it a bit more intellectual, especially if you’re using this to keep a kid occupied! You can get out a world map and show them where these countries are. We suggest starting with ones that are more recognizable on a map, like Chile and Brazil.
