Printable 5-person (or 5-Team) bracket with tournamentseeding
Have a 5 team single-elimination tournament coming up? Here’s a free printable 5-person bracket to bring structure to your next match. Despite the odd number of participants, this single-elimination bracket will help maintain fairness on the court. Here’s how it works:
There are three rounds in a 5 player single-elimination tournament. Each player is seeded based on skill or ranking 1-5, 1 being the highest ranked and 5 the lowest.
In the initial round, person 5 plays against person 4. The winner of this first match advances to the second round.
In the second round, the winner (either player 4 or player 5) matches up against player 1. During this match, player 2 and player 3 face off.
The winners from these two games advance to the third and final round to play against each other. The player that wins this final game becomes the champion.
Whether you’re putting together a quick round of pickleball with friends, or organizing a weekend basketball tournament with 5 teams, our 5 person single elimination bracket will have you get started on the right foot.
